Welcome! My name is Amy Dickinson and this is my food blog, Cooked with Heart! I am from Livermore California and work full time in the Silicon Valley. When I’m not working, my true passion has always been cooking. Growing up I learned a lot from my mom and as I got older, I self-taught my way through the kitchen.
When I’m not working I LOVE to go wine tasting. Is there anything better than spending a day in wine country with friends and family, eating delicious food and pairing it with the best wine? Living in the bay area means I’m a little less than an hour from Napa and I try to take full advantage whenever possible because I know how lucky I am to be so close!
I started Cooked with Heart because I love food. Like, REALLY love food. I’m that person who is eating breakfast, and already thinking about what I’m going to have for lunch, dinner, and tomorrow’s breakfast.
When I’m cooking in the kitchen, each recipe is like an experiment, tweaking and modifying until I have the best of the best. Cooked with Heart is a place for me to share those best recipes with you and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
